4 COLUMN AUTOMATIC BLOCK-CUTTING MACHINE WITHOUT TROLLEY FOR MARBLE FOR BLADES UP TO 1600 MM DIAMETER

Machine fit to transform marble blocks in semi-finished strips of a maximum width of 610 mm and thickness up to 90 mm Key features: solidity and high productivity.

The main structure: four columns joined by two beams supporting a mobile bridge vertically on which the blade-holder slide runs; these units, widely dimensioned, are made in highly resistant cast iron for maximum stability and duration in time. Stainless steel casings of guides for maximum duration. The block should be positioned in the area between the columns with travelling crane or forklift; on demand a carriage on rails can be supplied. The surface protection cycle of the machine executes an initial sandblasting and washing of the castings and following application of three layers of paint.

The horizontal motion cut/return of the blade-holder slide (axis X) is driven by a pinion/rack pair occurs on guides in oil bath free of maintenance, protected with casing against water and dust infiltration. Separate electronic regulation of the cut and return speed of the blade holder head, from the control board. Electronic setting of the cut and return limit stops of the operating head. The removal of the strips is entrusted to the operator in charge or on request an auxiliary automatic unloader can be used. On request, in order to match the cutting speed with the characteristics of the material to be worked, electronic revolution variators of the blade holder spindles can be used with regulation for vertical blades having a diameter comprised between 800 and 1600 mm and for the horizontal blade having a diameter of 450 mm.

A waterproof electric panel is located on the right hand side of the machine including the electronic programmer, the DSTN colour display of 5.7", the operating controls, the remote-control switches with relevant thermal protections, the main switch with door blockage and the electronic equipment for movement control.

The POLYAX COLOR software controls vertical and horizontal movement of the blade holder head and bridge translation. Programming the depth of cut and the bridge translation with decimal precision.

Machine safety: devices according to EEC standards with fence barrier and access door with safety contact protect the danger area around the operating head. Safety flowmeter and cut out that stops the machine in case of lack of water. The underhead sensor stops the machine in case of overloading caused for example by exceeding speed of travel or cutting depth. The load limiting device sets the maximum current drain threshold of the blade motor to protect the tool from stresses higher than the set value. The power and water supplies are carried and protected by nylon cable-holding chains from the connection to the base of the machine to the electrical panel and from the latter to the operating head.
